This Vixen S4, one of only 23 cars ever built, had been hidden away for many years having spent time abroad. He has been a delightful if challenging project.

1972 - The S4 was produced as an interim model using the new TVR M series chassis with a Vixen body. The body sits higher than on the older round tube chassis and the square tubes are visible in the front wheel arches.

On initial inspection, this Vixen body was tired and need of a full restoration

Inside, everything from the seats to the trim, wiring and dash all need to come out

The chassis, at best, a little cruddy needed a full strip with box and tubing replaced to give it a long term future

Sitting inside a refurbished chassis, with some new shiny bits and a wiring loom that worked, the difference is amazing

Underneath, a back body with newly renovated chassis, brought out the beautiful stainless exhaust and copper brake pipework
